I extended a video clip in order to add a bit of extra Audio into my timeline and now I want to move all of the following audio clips back up and close a gap on the audio track. Ripple Delete won't work as I have no gap on the other tracks and don't want to move them anyway. When opening a saved project, I can't move, delete, or alter clips in the timeline in any way. However, if I open an auto saved project, it works. I can't figure out whats going on. Can anyone help? Another way to do it is to simply right click and unlink the clips to make audio separate and then delete it. Press it to separate the audio from video. When the audio is separated from the video, you can select the separated audio layer and hit the delete key on your keyboard, or right-click on the separated audio layer and select the " Clear " option from the drop-down menu to delete the audio layer.
